A cardinal-hop schedule has the velocity diamond of (eq:diamond-disk). Replacing its two-site operations by identities leaves the same conservative support envelopes but removes cross-site influence. Replacing a permitted operation by SWAP can realize unit influence on that edge.
Assigning every cardinal dependency duration gives causal endpoint inclusion in a flat speed- geometry. Changing only hardware parallelism does not change that requirement. This finite example separates all three structures.
For a nontrivial accuracy test, prescribe SWAP as the target. The identity implementation is safe, but
on two qubits: the input gives orthogonal outputs and , while the half-diamond distance between channels is at most one.
