Nonlocal encoding
Benchmarks and failure modes › Nonlocal encoding · lines 1857–1867
Let two model sites be spacelike separated during a short comparison interval. An encoding that swaps their factors, followed by an identity computation and local decoding, gives a decoded SWAP. The computation alone has no communication, but the encoded–computed–decoded channel does. This violates the localization contract and has unit unwanted signalling.
