VIII-A@3#A:contract:rules

Back to manuscript

Every rule returns its complete typed configuration and the applicable certificate.

  1. A {-rule} reads only declared geometric, geometric-controller, permission, and resource inputs. It preserves and does not inspect matter state, occupancy, or spectator cardinality.

  2. A matter rule applies a declared channel on its named interface, extended by identities on untouched factors. It does not change geometry.

  3. An ordinary unsourced coupling rule may read a named source functional but leaves the particle signature fixed. A packet-changing rule is not of this type.

  4. A sourced coupling rule proposes a new packet

and must also return its complete realization, charts, gluing data, collar, transport, and output certificate. The packet proposal alone is insufficient.

Geometric and coupling parts leave internal matter unchanged. Any included matter channel is separately declared and obeys the same untouched-factor requirements.
