VIII-ST@1#def:support

Back to manuscript

A supported geometric presentation uses:

  1. finitely many developed sectors, face charts, and overlap components for a bounded transverse patch and a bounded axial slab, with the singular stratum separately declared;

  2. a regular operational tube whose spatial development is bounded and convex and whose closure is disjoint from the worldsheet;

  3. a finite operating interval and all initial carrier, controller, programme, and ancillary data.

There is no undeclared incoming boundary information. This is an operational support condition, not a field initial-boundary-value theorem.
