State of a description

A description configuration contains:

Here $m$ is the catalogue index, $s$ the exact slice parameter, $\sigma$ distinguishes incoming and outgoing zero germs, $h$ contains source and schedule stages, and ${\nu }_{\mathrm{G}},{\nu }_{\mathrm{S}}$ are separate nonnegative permissions. The original-name location table $\mathcal{L}$ uses only explicitly permitted persistent slots.

For the concrete operational instance, original names occupy a resting collar slot $Q_0$, extruded along the axial direction. No name is assigned to a collapsed outgoing cell or to the defect. The location word is abstract catalogue metadata; actual laboratory positions are supplied independently.

The command clock $s$, an execution counter, geometric time $T$, and the finite destructive-clock label are different objects.
