can be nonzero. There is no nonempty plateau algebra of the form (eq:plateau) when $g=0$.

Proof. The scalar operators in (eq:scalaroperators) vanish, while the coordinate equations contain no $g$. The last assertion follows from $P_g=\varnothing$.
