Classical smoothing and the actual dependence region

This is the parent support mechanism XConv (:smoothkernel, :support). It is an $\epsilon$-thickened dependence bound, not exact metric causality in the original field arguments. The convolution can sample a metric value slightly to the future of an intermediate wave-source point.
