A nonzero forced scalar example and a symbolic diagnostic

The metric profile in (eq:conformaltest) is an off-shell configuration used in a scalar Cauchy problem. It is not declared to satisfy (eq:metricEuler). No externally added force has been introduced: the nonzero source is the variation of the frozen scalar interaction evaluated on this configuration.
