Constructed. Equations, regulator, data, and observable identities are proved through at fixed .
Proved obstructed. An explicit nonzero switch or regulator defect holds on the frozen group.
Unresolved. The regulator is unspecified, uniqueness is missing, or the second-order cancellation is unfinished.
The ending reached is (1). The preflight of Section sec:preflight decides it: the frozen regulator is exact on every pure gauge of the frozen algebra, and the full second-order mechanism is then available. A proved defect appears only for gauge parameters outside the frozen algebra, in the edge zone of the regulator; it is recorded as the boundary of the freeze, not as a theorem on the frozen group.
