Yang–Feldman characterization and quantum order
Yang–Feldman characterization and quantum order · lines 943–962
The leg count does not construct time-ordered products or license unanalysed diagonal extensions. The maps are defined by (eq:moller) and characterized by Theorem thm:yf; the count explains why that restricted construction has the stated quantum order. No cancellation theorem for an unconstructed programme is used.
Scalar-independent changes of quadratic Wick ordering have zero first field derivative and do not change these linear responses. Nor does tree-exactness make a map on free on-shell inputs:
whose class can be nonzero. The warning about actual intermediate tests remains in force.
