The sharp divergence-form problem
Identification: continuous coordinates and normal flux › The sharp divergence-form problem · lines 1254–1265
The normal here is the declared completion covector . These velocities are coordinate-coefficient data, not a newly derived host lapse or a measured observer velocity. The host time conversion remains the inherited one.
The flux-first interpretation is important: it does not multiply a surface delta by an unspecified discontinuous velocity.
