The following conclusions are compatible:

  1. the ramp observable has its stated classical plateau covariance;

  2. the convolution coefficient has the surjective orbit (eq:orbit);

  3. no scalar-only readout closes that convolution orbit informatively.

Neither the ramp identity nor the finite instruments supply Assumption ass:reference.

Proof. Theorem thm:orbit uses only Assumption ass:convolution, not (eq:ramp). The ramp plateau cancellation uses its own response and gauge algebra. There is no common defect orbit asserted for its already invariant coefficient.

Assumption ass:reference requires a separately defined coefficient and charges. An identity for a different coordinate response, or a channel acting on supplied numbers, defines neither.
