The encoding

This is the parent amplitude mechanism XEnter (:amplitude). Erasure here means erasure of dependence on the declared amplitude family. It does not imply a replacement channel on arbitrary qubit states. For example, a $Y$-basis measurement has a constant law on this real-amplitude family but not on the whole Bloch sphere.
