Two classical manuscripts enter with different roles. We call them X-A–Convolution, the convolution manuscript Convolution, and Ramp Prescription, the ramp manuscript Ramp. These are descriptive source identifiers. The former supplies the obstruction tested in Options A–D; the latter supplies only the comparison in Section sec:R.

We distinguish their source-specific supported gauge algebras by and . Each superscript records which manuscript supplies the prescription and support conditions. Repeated generic symbols do not identify the two prescriptions, their tests, or their coordinate responses.
