For any proposed linear combination $ρ C_{1} - γ C_{2}$ , whole-algebra first-order matching would require

ρ q_{1} (ϕ; ζ) - γ q_{2} (ϕ; ζ) = 0 (ζ \in g_{U}) .

The rank-two matrix (eq:chargematrix) excludes a nonzero constant pair $(ρ, γ)$ on this family.
