X-K-ST@1#def:release
A release has one of three explicit meanings:
a register is returned as an output and thereafter is acted on by the identity;
a register is transferred to a named storage owner, with its subsequent storage ledger retained;
a specified subsystem is traced out at a declared output boundary.
A data-dependent surviving output is not omitted while the remaining marginal is called the complete output.
An independent fixed blank may be discarded after its decoupling has been proved. The discard does not establish a thermodynamic reset cost.
