Back to manuscript

If two continuum configurations induce the same installed finite input state, every fixed report program has identical complete output on them. It cannot distinguish differing target values on that pair.

This does not exclude every acquisition model. It states the missing input requirement of the present report package.

Proof. A fixed linear channel has the same output on the same input. A claim to distinguish the target values would contradict that equality. An additional continuum-to-register acquisition map could change the premise, but no such map is constructed here.
