The theorem supplies a restricted classical differential algebra. It does not prove that its cohomology is the physical observable algebra, that a Koszul–Tate resolution is acyclic, or that unrestricted bulk symmetry has been restored.
The centralizer construction is an application of the classical Jacobi identity, not a new general BV theorem.
