Remark: Why this distinction matters

D4: an admitted cancellation cochain is not a completion · lines 950–957

If arbitrary parameter-indexed additions were declared to be completions without an action or integrability requirement, (eq:C-definition) would provide a cancellation prescription. That is a different, weaker interface. The present class requires a slot action or the variation of one fixed compensating functional. Its obstruction is not non-admission of the bilinear cochain.
