Definition: Unfinished transverse-estimate interface

After a joint E1 prescription has been obtained, E2 requires finite transverse degrees for the three-vertex and four-vertex strata, together with compatible estimates at their intersections.

In each chart, an asserted degree ${\omega }_I$ must control the rescaled distribution on bounded families of tests, with the necessary microlocal control in the tangential variables. The singular spectators must remain distributions in those variables; they are not replaced by pointwise smooth coefficients.
