The next extension attempt must supply:

1. a joint prescription across the noncoincident characteristic configurations, or a proved cancellation of those configurations in the complete selected pair;

2. uniform transverse scaling and wavefront estimates for the three-vertex and four-vertex collision strata and their intersections;

3. compatible extensions with the permitted partial contacts, rather than only isolated primitive extensions;

4. the full output wavefront estimate after proper pushforward.

If these obligations are met, the successor may release one ${R_1}^{(1)}$ in the unchanged carrier and only then open the binary gauge-consistency question at order $\lambda \hslash$ XIIIC.
