This is not a non-clean matching. The two pieces intersect cleanly.
The difficulty is that their clean intersection does not make their union one ordinary Lagrangian relation with one classical amplitude chart. The diagonal symbol chart and the flow-out symbol chart are different charts with a nontrivial transition problem.
The number seventeen in the tangent-sum calculation has no connection to XIV-F's seventeen-dimensional linearized matching space.
