The same argument applies componentwise to a three-slot tensor kernel on an open configuration product. It is a finite-data comparison, not a construction of the characteristic kernel in the separate gravitational programme. The pure-trace non-determination comparison in XVIII-A has its own stronger and differently specified test family CheungXVIIIA. No token is identified with that kernel.
