The free family in this proof is not identified with VI's solution jets or an inherited gravitational free-shell class. The argument does not show nonuniqueness of a kernel constructed from complete root data. It shows non-determination from the selected witness evaluations.

This is the comparison shape in XVIII-A CheungXVIIIA. XVI-H's reported general-test construction, its selected contraction, and its full-kernel wavefront and admission questions remain separate CheungXVIH.

The witness sources and responses of XVI-B/XVI-D are smooth fields on a spacetime slab. As regular distributions they live on that slab; they do not automatically become compact three-slot kernels on a configuration product CheungXVIB,CheungXVID. A map changing the number and meaning of the slots must be specified.
