Remark: Why the word ``natural'' matters

The formula (eq:naturaldefect) concerns the generator-compatible lift (eq:naturallift). An arbitrary linear preliminary lift may assign nonzero values even to universal presentation identities. The relation classification below is therefore not a theorem about every possible preliminary lift without additional compatibility assumptions.
