A transfer lemma with explicit domains

This lemma makes the needed identifications explicit. A common label, an analogous formula, or an internal Fourier representation does not supply $\alpha$, $\beta$, $\tau$, or the domain inclusion $\alpha (D_2)\subset D_1$. In particular, it does not enlarge a canonical composition domain to a characteristic domain.
