Renormalized perturbative gravity is organized, in the locally covariant framework, by a Batalin–Vilkovisky (BV) treatment of gauge symmetry: classical master equation, ghost and antifield content, and renormalized interacting products compatible with that structure. XVI-L prepares objects that a later symmetry analysis may use — the complete-source jet, the coherent extension , the unrooted collision space, the scale family , and the root-attached coefficient under (R1)–(R3) — but it does not assert BRST closure of the completed graph, does not write a BV antibracket or master action for this sector, and does not claim a Ward identity.
