XVI-O1-ST@5#thm:constantlift
Let be a constant finite matrix and , over . For a complete left kernel , the following are equivalent:
for every ;
a polynomial solution exists;
the target belongs to at every point of an infinite parameter set in the field.
The same original minor and left kernel certify each coefficient solve. With complete right kernel , all polynomial solutions differ by .
Proof. The first condition solves each . A polynomial solution gives pointwise membership. Conversely, vanishes on infinitely many points, so every entry is the zero polynomial. The kernel assertion is coefficientwise.
