Proposition prop:wave uses an already specified metric. There is no dynamical metric variable, gravitational action, gravitational constraint algebra, or backreaction equation in the finite model. Thus the paper proves no gravitational field equation. This is not a nonexistence theorem for every possible gravitational completion; it is the exact boundary of the present result.

The lightlike directions of (eq:metric) are likewise assumed. Neither Lemma lem:timeband nor the record channel derives a causal structure. The finite-matrix regulator is not promoted to a local relativistic quantum field.

The distinction from entropy-based gravitational arguments is substantive: no Ryu–Takayanagi relation or entanglement-first-law hypothesis appears in the proof RT2006,Faulkner2014.
