Why the requested rate must distinguish one and two rods
An intrinsic inverse-distance obstruction for two rods › Why the requested rate must distinguish one and two rods · lines 1397–1410
The quadratic lapse term in (eq:lapse) contains one rod multiplied by a local derivative. A covariance of two first rods is a different composition. It involves two Newton inverses.
It would be incorrect to require the inverse-square dipole estimate of Theorem thm:GreenTail for both ordered two-rod covariances. Their commutator already has a slower native tail.
This can be proved without selecting any state.
