For comparison channels independent of an intervention, uniform implemented allowances imply at most a intervention difference by the triangle inequality. They do not imply exact absence of influence CheungXXIIB (prop:tolerance).

A protocol can therefore approximate identity on a target while having small additional signals outside an asserted exact support region. Exact support and tolerance support require different guards and different statements.

The separation

holds for the complete definite-order networks used in Section sec:locality. Containment in an independently supplied geometric relation requires a separate embedding certificate CheungVIIJ. No endpoint norm allowance supplies that certificate.
