For every finite protocol record the actual finite vector

where:

  • : number and types of process-resource uses;

  • : peak live quantum qubits under the stated storage and apparatus convention;

  • : elementary gate count and gate depth;

  • : quantum and classical communication, in stated units and with multiplicities;

  • : admitted shared-entanglement resources;

  • : total auxiliary allocation, not peak use;

  • : attempted validation or estimation runs, not uses of the unknown payload.

Separately record:

  1. Classical computation. Input precision, finite data queried, extraction or optimization steps, arithmetic model, classical memory, and termination.

  2. Estimation. Settings, shots, scores, calibration, confidence allocation, and transfer allowances.

  3. Residual and output interface. Every retained quantum residual and classical register, its dimension or alphabet, availability, and declared discard or consumption.

No system is counted twice merely because a classical register is represented mathematically by a diagonal quantum register. An actual coherent register must be charged to its actual live quantum use.
