For the full-code Bell input, the marginal logical state is $I_{D} / D$ . For every $U$ ,

ρ_{R_{k}} = I_{R_{k}} / r_{k}, S (R_{k}) = k lo g_{2} s .

This referenced-input marginal entropy is monotone and ends at $lo g_{2} D$ , not zero. Its final reference entanglement is correctly preserved by coherent recovery. The pure-unreferenced Page theorem does not apply to that marginal.
