Enter background and the corrected target › The philosophical discipline · lines 131–149
Cheung's Philosophy of Enter separates destructive readout from quantum recovery. Destructive computational-basis readout consumes the measured quantum name and returns classical data; a decoder instead returns a quantum target through declared access. Consumption is an interface statement, not physical annihilation. The philosophy also distinguishes complete energy, erasure cost, and residual leakage, and distinguishes an analogy from a physical identification CheungPhilosophy.
We implement these distinctions by specifying the code, untouched reference, complete preparation, accessible outputs, excluded outputs, and returned type before stating entropy or recovery claims. Ordinary finite Born instruments are defined explicitly. Cheung's calculus and Manuscript I provide background; their measurement-characterization hypotheses are not enlarged by citation CheungEnter,CheungI.
