Connes fusion takes appropriately specified correspondences to a relative tensor product. In the sector category, it is a tensor operation; its construction and unit constraints are not those of a finite channel's input-output ledger ThomFusion,GuiUnbounded.
A decoder is instead a CPTP map on an accessible output, with a declared code and a reference-preserving error comparison. Thus a CWX tensorator, if independently established, does not supply a decoder without further data.
