Proposition: Evaluation isolation and paired replay

Suppose training is a deterministic function of the complete starting state and its named stream $U_c$. If evaluation uses separate streams and mutates no training state, inserting an evaluation cannot change a later training checkpoint. If two executions use the same starting state, algorithm, and stream realization, their checkpoints agree.

Proof. The training function receives identical arguments. An isolated evaluation changes none of them.
