Let $H$ be the source activation diagnostic and $g_{eff}$ the current effective gain. The implemented severity is

v = clip_{[0.5, 2.0]} (g_{eff} + 2 (H - 0.1)) .

With the default base fraction $0.05$ , the nominal episode deletion fraction is

s = clip_{[0.02, 0.20]} (0.05 v) \in [0.025, 0.10] .

The outer clamp does not alter that default interval. The gain contribution is directly imposed in the formula.

Proof. Simplify the source expression $1 + (g_{eff} - 1) + 2 (H - 0.1)$ . Substitute its configured clipping limits and base fraction.
