A target-adapted route

Read the clock before departure. The transported payload may then be correlated with both its classical code $R$ and an untouched reference $E$. The theorem applies with $RE$ as the reference system.

To perform the code-selected score probe remotely, reserve a two-bit classical register at each site and forward the code along the same causal hops. Apply $M_{s,y}$ only after both payload and code arrive. Copying a diagonal classical code is not cloning an unknown quantum state.
