Recovery obstruction, deterministic packets, and balance
Recovery obstruction, deterministic packets, and balance · lines 1496–1507
A constant record law is necessary, not sufficient, for full recovery. A replacement channel has a constant record and is not reversible. Conversely, random unitary branches with input-independent recorded probabilities can be corrected using the record.
The corollary does not prohibit copying already classical data. It also does not preclude recovery on a proper code subspace or preservation of a named commutative algebra.
