Lemma: Split type implies the cone condition

A split-type distribution satisfies (eq:cone).

Proof. If every $p_i$ is future causal, each time component is nonnegative. Their sum can vanish only if all time components vanish, which forces all causal $p_i$ to vanish. The zero total covector is excluded from a wavefront set. The past-cone case is identical.
