Finite installed encoding and the clock instrument › One explicit finite-table error topology · lines 2346–2359
This is a specified probabilistic encoding topology. Numerically nearby values encoded as distinct deterministic orthogonal words need not have nearby channels. No such false continuity assertion is used.
The abstract finite instruments can be implemented under the inherited local-unitary and destructive-readout permissions, with a calibrated basis change and an optional binary probe rotation. This is not a hardware compilation theorem.
