Only the explicitly stated host and handoff data are inherited assumptions. A bare citation is not an additional hypothesis. In particular, the comparison sheets listed later do not prove either Theorem thm:maps or Theorem thm:ward. The latter is proved by the three-term variation, not by declaring that every identity in a predecessor automatically transfers.
