The normal-jet description is the local supported-distribution structure in explicitly fixed coordinates. The general microlocal distinction between distributional tangential coefficients and smooth conormal coefficients is discussed in Dang (Section 8.2). Here the finite characterization and extraction formula are proved directly; no extension theorem is applied.
