A distribution $t \in D^{'} (U)$ has supported normal order at most $r$ along $S$ if $supp t \subset S$ and it annihilates every test $ϕ$ satisfying

\partial_{q}^{γ} ϕ (x, 0) = 0 for all ∣ γ ∣ \leq r .

On an open subset of $U$ , this condition is understood locally in product neighborhoods of the points of $S$ .
