Finite probes require coverage

Injectivity on a vector space containing every possible defect is a sufficient global coverage certificate. It need not be necessary when testing only a smaller affine reachable family: there the exact condition is that its intersection with $\ker P$ contain no nonzero reachable defect. Thus the proposition does not replace an affine-family analysis by a stronger unstated requirement.
