The programme separates definition of relational observables, construction and normalization of their interacting products, and ultraviolet completion. A classical identity, an admitted free product, or a numerical finite part of one distribution does not by itself construct the interacting observable CheungVI,CheungVIIC,CheungVIID,CheungXG.
Locally covariant perturbative gravity provides an external effective-theory framework BFR. Relational-coordinate contributions can be essential in an observable calculation: Fröb's scalar correlator calculation is an external example FrobCorrelation.
